Please note that sexing day-old poultry is not an exact science, and this is why we guarantee 90% accuracy when ordering sexed chicks.
If you order sexed chicks and over 10% of the chicks you order turn out to be the incorrect gender, please let us know and you may be eligible for a credit.
Sexing errors can only be reported when the chicks are at least 10 weeks of age, but no later than 18 weeks of age. We are not able to issue a credit for any reason on chicks that are over 18 weeks of age.
You can easily report a sexing error on our website. To do so,
- Navigate to My Account then Orders -
- Click the "Sexing Claim" button next to your order. Assuming your birds are between 10 and 18 weeks of age, you will see this option.
- Complete the form by letting us know the number of correctly sexed birds you have on your order (we often include extras).
